Rostering software for hospitality without the 4pm group chat
Publish the shifts for your next period and your casual pool requests the ones they can work. You allocate with a standby list for each night, and over a few periods you learn which of your people you can count on.
No request window is open on this page; the chronometer is shown without a time.

Allocating. Requests are in and seats are being filled. Every roster sits at exactly one station, and each station names the one thing left to do.

Publish the shifts instead of asking for cover
A service, a section or a station is named work that needs a fixed number of people. Open the shifts for your next period and your casual pool can see what's on offer and on which nights, before you've asked anyone directly.
- Named shifts and stations with fixed capacities
- A venue, section and shift hierarchy, named the way you name them
- Priority-ranked shifts for a quieter service
- Skills decide who can request a section, such as bar or floor

Staff pick the shifts they can work
People ask for the work they want on nights they know they're free. That tends to bring fewer late no-shows than a shift handed to whoever was slowest to reply. Each team member gets one signed link per period and requests within the minimum and maximum you set, and reminders go to anyone who hasn't answered.
- One link each per period, and no app
- Requests for named shifts on particular nights
- Reminders sent automatically before requests close
- Each click logged for security review
Reliability shows who you can count on
When a period is completed, each person's attendance and hours go into a reliability score, weighted toward recent shifts and shown as green, amber or red. When someone drops a shift, the seat is offered to your ranked standby list and the first to claim it takes it. A late gap goes out in one step instead of eating your Friday afternoon.
- A reliability score per person, weighted to recent shifts
- A ranked standby list for each night
- The first valid claim gets the empty seat
- Attendance and hours recorded during service, ready for payroll

Questions from hospitality teams
We roster week to week from a casual pool. Will this keep up?
Yes. A period can be as short as a week, with requests opening and closing when you choose, so it suits a weekly roster as well as a long season.
Can we run different sections like bar, floor and kitchen separately?
Yes. Rosters are set up by function, so bar, floor and kitchen can each have their own roster for the same nights. Bar staff request bar shifts and kitchen staff request kitchen shifts.
Do staff need to download an app to see their shifts?
No. Each team member gets a signed link by SMS and email for the period. They use it to request shifts, see their roster and withdraw if they need to.
How does this help with last-minute no-shows?
An empty shift is offered to the night's ranked standby list with a one-time link. Cover goes to whoever claims it first, so it doesn't depend on you making calls.
Can we see who our most dependable casual staff are?
Yes. After each completed period, reliability scoring turns attendance rate and hours fulfilment into a score per person, weighted toward recent shifts.
