Rostering software for attractions that staff by the night

Your season runs on named work: a particular room, scene or set that needs a fixed number of people. Publish the nights and your cast request the sets they want. You allocate with a standby pool behind them, and the night itself runs from a phone.

Publish the season's nights, set by set

Your work is a named place, such as the Lighthouse's lantern room or the Mine Ride's loading bay: a scene that needs one to three people who know it well. Chronomancer's three-layer hierarchy (site, attraction, set) follows the way your attraction is laid out. Each set has a fixed capacity and a priority rank, which decides which sets open first on a quieter night.

  • Named sets, each with a fixed capacity
  • A site, attraction and set hierarchy, with your own labels
  • Priority-ranked sets, so a quiet Sunday opens the right ones
  • Skills control which sets a performer can see and request

Performers request the sets they love

A young, casual cast who do everything on their phones won't want an app or a password. Each performer gets one signed link per period. They open it, see the nights and sets on offer, and request the ones they want to play, within the minimum and maximum you allow per night. You no longer have to work out from a group chat who's free on Friday.

  • One link per person per period, with no app or login
  • Requests for named sets on particular nights, within your limits
  • Reminders go to anyone who hasn't replied before requests close
  • Clicks are logged for security review

Allocate with a standby pool, then run the night live

One board shows the requests against each set, sorted by priority tier and reliability. Place your cast, keep a ranked reserve and send the confirmations together. On the night, attendance and hours are recorded on a tablet at the door. If someone drops out, the people on standby get a link to the seat and the first to claim it takes it, so you aren't the one ringing round.

  • Requests sorted by priority tier and reliability score
  • A ranked standby list for each night
  • Attendance and hours recorded on the night
  • The first valid claim takes an empty seat, with no re-offering by hand

Questions from attractions & entertainment venues

Our cast work named sets rather than generic shifts. Does this fit?

Yes. Named work is the core of Chronomancer: a specific set or room with its own fixed capacity. Performers request the exact sets they want to play each night.

Can we open different sets depending on how big the night is?

Yes. Each set has a priority rank, so a quiet weeknight opens only your top-priority sets and a big Saturday can open all of them.

Do performers need to install an app?

No. Each performer gets a unique signed link by SMS and email for the period, and that's where they request, check their roster and withdraw. There's no app and no password.

What happens when someone no-shows or drops out mid-season?

When someone withdraws, or is marked unwell, unavailable or gone on the night, their seat is offered to that night's ranked standby list with a one-time link. The first person to claim it is placed and confirmed. For a no-show, one tap on Recover slot does the same.

Can we require a skill before someone can request a set?

Yes. An attraction can require a skill. Only performers who hold it see and can request its sets, and placing someone without it is blocked unless a manager records an override.
